HOW TO PLANT
Fill your jar up with the soil. Lightly water and moisten fresh soil mix . Sprinkle seeds onto the soil and place at a temperature of 20-23°C .Do not cover the seeds; they need light to germinate. They should sprout within 15-20 days at room temperature or slightly warmer (20 to 23°C). You can transplant into the garden or container when they have at least 2 sets of true leaves so that they can have grow strong roots.
TIP: Reuse one of the seal-able bags and place over the jar to create moisture and help germinate. Once seeds start to grow you can take this off :)
WHERE TO PLACE
Place in a warm window with a light exposure. Avoid drafty windows or places where temperatures drop considerably at night. As the plants grow, rotate the pots to keep them from leaning in one direction, toward the light. If you are using grow lights, set a timer so that they are on for 14 hours a day. Place the lights a few inches above the seedlings, raising the lights as the plants grow. If the plants look leggy, move the lights closer. If you see white spots on the leaves, the lights are too close. Use scissors to thin crowded seedlings.
WHEN TO WATER
Keep the soil moist, but not soaking wet. If the plants start to look crowded as they grow, use scissors to thin them out.
